About Robert Goldman
Robert Goldman, born 1948 in Evanston, Ill. has been a professional artist since 1971. He showed his work in San Diego, CA for over 25 years before moving to Tucson, AZ. where he exhibited his work for 20 years until moving to Prescott, AZ in 2013. Robert's paintings are based both on plein air and studio work. Robert attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA where he was accepted with advanced standing and awarded a scholarship. A selected list of workshops include Ray Vinella, John Asaro, Wolf Kahn, Wayne Thiebaud, Matt Smith, Jove Wang, Phil Starke, Randall Sexton, Ray Roberts, Bill Anton, Ned Jacob. Robert has received numerous awards, and has been included in several books and publications. His work is in the permanent collection of The Grand Canyon Association and he is collected worldwide. In addition he has been an art teacher for a number of years. Recent shows include TOP 50 and TOP 100 in the 2007 Paint America National Park show, and the Oil Painters of America Western Regional show in Santa Barbara, CA. and OPA National Show in Scottsdale, AZ. First Place BOLD BRUSH AWARD, FASO Bold Brush Painting Competition.
